I mounted the lights on my pontoon for night time docking. I mounted 2 of these lights on each side of my pontoon facing each other. This allows for complete coverage of light on each side of the pontoon. I am very happy with the brightness and area of coverage these lights provide. This had made docking at night much safer.

The light is very well built with a high IP rating. (IP is ingress protection against dust and fluids). The high IP rating makes this light perfect for boating and the marine environment. They also make great backup lights on vehicles. They are surface mounted, so the only holes are the 2 holes for mounting the light. The low profile makes them almost invisible when mounted. The body is black but you have the option to add the chrome cover. This gives you versatility with the final appearance when mounted. The LED lights draw very low current. The built in heat sink dissipates heat extremely well. The focal point of light is directed 30 degrees off the mounting surface. The rest of the light is dissipated illuminating the surrounding area with a flood of light.
